Today a branch of the State Folklore centre and Choir master’s school was opened in Khobi. The presentation was attended by Giorgi Donadze –Executive Director of the State Folklore Centre; Koba Kantaria – Deputy -Governor of Samegrelo and Zemo Svaneti; Gocha Kajaia – Head of Khobi Municipality, Edisher Jobava – Chairman of Khobi City Assembly, specialists of the Folklore Centre, local cultural and publicfigures.

According to the memorandum formalized between the State Folklore centre and Khobi Municipality, Choir Master’s’s School will be jointly subsidized by the Centre and Khobi Municipality.

The official part was followed by the concert at Dzuku Lolua Museum of Georgian song with the participation of children’s folk ensembles.
