A special two-month summer-season project “Hit Batumi 2015” opened with a week of folklore on 6 July in Batumi. The Project comprises various projects and entertainment events, including a week of folklore with the participation of folk ensembles and groups from all over Georgia. The event will contribute to the popularization of Georgian folk song and dance. “Folklore Week” is organized by the State Folklore Centre of Georgia.

Supporters of The Project are: Batumi City Hall, Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, LEPL “Investment Fund for Culture Development”, National Tourism Administration of Georgia and Tourism Department of Achara.
