Opening of the 2015-2016 National Folklore Festival of Georgia was held at Telavi Drama Theatre on 4 June, among the concert participants were: “Georgian National Ballet - Sukhishvilebi”, “Rustavi”. “Erisioni”, “Basiani”, “Tsinandali”, Eter Tataraidze – a poet and folklorist.

The State Folklore Centre holds “The National Folklore Festival 2015-2016” with support of the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.

Presented at the Festival will be: folk song and dance;  instrumental music; traditional church chant; oral folklore; fine and applied arts; the folklore of all ethnicities and ethnic groups of Georgia.
