The expedition aimed to record the Apshilava family of singers as part of the 2005-2006 National Inspection-Festival.
The expedition membership:
Tea Kasaburi –coordinator of Music Department;
Sopio Lobzhanidze – Assistant to the Centre’s Director;
Zurab Gugushvili – coordinator of People’s Theatre Department;
Archil Tsankashvili – sound engineer, photographer

Statistics:
About ten songs and instrumental pieces performed by the Apshilavas’ trio and Ilia Apshilava’s conversation with his cousins were recorded on audio, video and photo devices. A 2-hour video footage, and 1CD photo material has been ceded to the Folklore Centre’s archive.
