Vakhushti Kotetishvili evening of oral folklore was  held at the Grand Hall of Rustaveli Drama Theatre  on 10 December; individual and group performers: poets, singers, dancers, masters of humour from all parts of Georgia was participated in the Evening.

The event is dedicated to the memory of the distinguished masters of oral folklore (Alexi Chincharauli – 90; Vakhushti Kotetishvili – 80; Iura (Giorgi) Japaridze – 75);

The event, organized by the State Folklore Centre, will be held with the support of the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.
