Vakhushti Kotetishvili evening of oral folklore will be held at the Grand Hall of Rustaveli Drama Theatre at 19:00 on 10 December; individual and group performers: poets, singers, dancers, masters of humour from all parts of Georgia will participate in the Evening.

The event is dedicated to the memory of the distinguished masters of oral folklore (Alexi Chincharauli – 90; Vakhushti Kotetishvili – 80; Iura (Giorgi) Japaridze – 75); folklorists Eter Tataraidze and Amiran Arabuli will be presenters of the evening.

The event, organized by the State Folklore Centre, will be held with the support of the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.
