7th International Symposium on Traditional Polyphony was held with the patronage of the Georgian President on September 22-26 at Tbilisi State Conservatoire. State Folklore Centre of Georgia – one of the Symposium’s official partners and organizers, provided selection and transportation of the folk groups/ ensembles with different styles and performance from various provinces to Tbilisi. The Centre was also in charge of organizing Gala concerts, selection of folk ensembles for the concert held during the outing to Uplistsikhe, as part of the Symposium’s cultural program.
